Ten Years Now

“The Lord is faithful” (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

May 1st is the ten year anniversary of the start of our church.

Maybe that doesn’t seem like much, but to us it is an expression of God’s great love and faithfulness. We started out as a prayer group on Saturday nights. We sang and prayed and studied God’s word. Eventually, we officially organized as a church. We started small and are still small. We rented schools to meet in until Covid taught us to Zoom together.

On the surface, there is no reason why we even still exist.

But, dig a bit deeper and you will find that God has used us for His purposes in the lives of many people here and far away. Our budget is big on missions and benevolence. Our minds are stayed on God’s word. Our hearts are tuned to His Spirit. We are simple, we are older, we are insignificant to others, but special to the Lord. We have learned that even little things are big in God’s hands.

Our motto is simple and captures our approach to everything.
