Tell Him Your Troubles

“I pour out my complaint before Him” (Psalm 142:2).

Everybody has troubles in this life.

David was hiding in a cave from his enemies. He felt trapped like he was in a prison. He had no one to help him, and it caused him to feel like nobody even cared. He could see no solution. He was overwhelmed and had lost hope. He thought that he was going to die.

So, he told God all about it. He even complained.

David didn’t worry about bothering God with his troubles. He didn’t fall into the trap of thinking that God had forgotten about him. He just let God hear it all from his painful perspective. And then David praised God and asked to be delivered. He wanted God to restore him to the land of the living, so that he could give thanks to His name.

Go ahead and tell God all about your troubles.

He is listening.
